The Geoffrey P. Herzig, MD, Memorial Symposium for Hematologic Malignancies and Bone Marrow Transplantation will be on April 8-9, 2016 in Louisville, Kentucky at the Jewish Hospital Rudd Heart & Lung Conference Center. The first day will focus on translational science and the second day will address clinical sciences. A score of the world-class speakers in BMT and leukemia fields will speak at this event.

Dr. Herzig was a pioneer in BMT, and is credited for several pivotal developments including the establishment of the minimum dose of hematopoietic stem cells required for safe transplantation. The cadre of speakers at the memorial symposium scheduled in his honor speaks to his influence on the field.
